The Association Life Science Nord is the regional network for medical technology, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry in the Northern German states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Cross linking some 500 companies, universities and research institutes and with more than 260 active members, Life Science Nord is an important economic factor and driver of innovative medicine and a key element in the cluster policy of the two federal states. As a committed interest group, it promotes co-operation between science and business in a targeted manner, thereby enhancing the visibility of Northern Germany as a hub of internationally leading life science technology and boosting the added value and innovative capacity of the region.
